In case you missed it, David proposed an amendment to the House Judiciary Committee rules earlier this week that would ban insurrectionists from leading the pledge of allegiance.

Pretty reasonable, right? Well, Matt Gaetz did not agree. Check it out.

It’s simple, team — you can’t pledge your allegiance to our country and support the same people who tried to overthrow it on January 6.

As an impeachment manager during Donald Trump’s January 6 trial, David stood up for our democracy at every turn. Denouncing the insurrection should not be a partisan issue.
