In a moment, I'm going to ask you to chip in to help Ohio Democrats hold corrupt Ohio Republicans accountable. But first, let me explain why bringing transparency to our state is so crucial.

Last month, the trial of disgraced former Speaker Larry Householder and former Ohio Republican Party Chair Matt Borges began for their alleged role in a $60 million dollar bribery scheme involving a $1 billion dollar bailout for FirstEnergy’s nuclear power plants.

We know that top-level GOP politicians and operatives took millions of dollars from dark money groups connected to FirstEnergy and used that money to enrich themselves and fellow Republicans. While Householder and Borges are the ones on trial, the corruption runs far deeper – from Governor Mike DeWine to Matt Dolan to Dave Yost and Frank LaRose.

Radical Republican politicians have been robbing hard-working Ohioans for far too long. Ohioans have the right to know how our state is doing business – and corruption and bribery at the expense of working people is unacceptable. Ohioans deserve leadership without exploitation – and we're fighting hard to ensure justice is delivered.

We’re hopeful Householder and Borges will be brought to justice soon – and we’re also working hard to ensure that Republican politicians who have stood complicit as they orchestrated their illegal schemes will be held accountable, too. But we can't win the fight for accountability and justice without your support, team.
