Last night, President Biden gave his second official State of the Union address, John.
Speaking to the nation, he reminded us of his legislative accomplishments, which have extended to nearly every aspect of American life, and his leadership in the global coalition to back Ukraine’s defenses and democracies worldwide. These achievements will certainly echo for decades.
In sharing his vision for our country, he laid out his top priorities for the coming year, which include paid leave. I couldn't agree more with the president. Paid family leave is an investment in our economic growth. That's why I led the effort to get Paid Family Leave for all federal employees, and why I continue to work to expand that right to all Americans.
I truly appreciate President Biden’s call for progress and the importance of working together as we fight for democracy and our communities. Now our work begins.
As we look to the coming weeks and months ahead, I am committed to doing everything in my power to put partisan politics aside and positively impact the daily lives of all Americans.
I am ready to roll up my sleeves for working families across Pennsylvania – from protecting voting rights to securing investments in infrastructure and lowering costs. But hearing directly from you, John, is one of the best ways for me to do that.
I want to understand your perspectives and priorities so that I can represent us all in Washington. John, please, before our official survey closes at 11:59 p.m., will you take just two minutes to share your thoughts with me?

Serving as your representative is the honor of my lifetime, and I am excited to hear from you on how best I can advocate for you and your family.
