During last night's State of the Union address, President Biden
highlighted the progress we've made in the past two years — in large part
thanks to our movement delivering some BIG victories for working people
across the country.

Thanks to our tireless organizing, advocacy, and negotiating over the last
two years, we secured unprecedented investments into large-scale climate
action, our nation's infrastructure, gun reform, veteran's healthcare, and
more.

These victories just go to show that our progressive coalition knows how
to organize for and deliver the transformative, people-first policies our
communities need — while the Republicans are in ruin.

Since entering Congress, I have fought non-stop for the lifesaving
solutions that will effectively address some of the most pressing crises

What has the GOP done for the American people with their newfound, narrow
House majority? Let's take a look:

* Introduced a tax proposal that would cause skyrocketing taxes for
working class people. 
* Continued their attack on reproductive rights by introducing two
pieces of anti-choice legislation. 
* Empowered extremist, election-denying members by appointing some of
them to the most influential House committees. 
* Proposed holding the economy hostage by refusing to increase the debt
ceiling to provide necessary relief to everyday people who are
struggling.

Despite the fact Republicans now control the House, our work is far from
over. We cannot and will not be deterred in our efforts to achieve and
deliver a better and brighter future. Unlike the GOP, I will continue to
push for a bold progressive agenda that works for all — [ [link removed] ]but this work
