Last night, President Biden delivered a powerful and inspiring State of the Union Address with a clear message: With Democrats in charge, our economy is roaring, inflation is falling, and the COVID-19 pandemic no longer controls our lives.

And by contrast, Republicans booed, cursed, and slung insults at the mention of cooperation and progress.

Last Congress, NewDems worked across the aisle to deliver the Inflation Reduction Act, the American Rescue Plan, and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to President Biden’s desk – using our House Majority to put Americans back on their feet and strengthen the economy with record job creation, unprecedented economic growth, and a historic decline in unemployment.

But the Republican Majority in Congress answers to Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz, who have promised to do everything in their power to erase the progress we’ve made in the last two years.

It’s no secret that the newly-empowered GOP will attempt to derail our economic success in order to obstruct President Biden and reinstall Trump in the White House in 2024. We cannot let them succeed.
