First: Mandela reached out to you to share his next step — his new PAC, The Long Run — and ask if you will stand with him in this new chapter. With your help, The Long Run will support, empower, and strengthen diverse progressive candidates across the country to ensure all Americans receive equal opportunity, regardless of their ZIP code.

Then: We had 423 grassroots supporters step up to become Founding Donors to The Long Run and join our coalition of changemakers. It started with Priscilla from Milwaukee giving $18, then Andy from Chicago donated $50, and hundreds of others chimed in. We are so grateful. Thank you.

By the end of this week, we need to show the country the strength of our movement, and how we are ready to stand by Mandela in his next challenge. But first, we have big goals to meet.

We need 577 more donations to reach our 1000 donation goal by MIDNIGHT and ensure that we can make a lasting impact this upcoming election cycle. Without adequate funding, we not only fall short of our goals but will lose the opportunity to bolster and uplift many groundbreaking working class candidates.
