John, earlier today I was proud to take part in the Phoenix Women's March. It was great to see folks of all ages come together from all across Arizona to fight for equality and empowerment for girls and women everywhere.

The 2016 election was a wake-up call for so many of us. I'll never forget talking to my daughters the morning after, and telling them how important it was for more women to run for office...how important it was for women to have a seat at the table.

After the first Women's March in 2017 - seeing people of all backgrounds stand together and powerfully demand a fairer and more just country - I knew women were going to lead the way for real progress.

Since the first Women's March in 2017, we've made great strides:

➢We've seen historic numbers of women running for office
➢A historic number of women now serve in Congress
➢The Equal Rights Amendment just passed in the 38th state needed for ratification

But there is still much work to be done.

Now, 2020 is our chance to build on this progress and truly transform the country. Our voices must be heard, and they are more powerful and effective when raised together.

There's so much at stake! Let's continue to harness our powerful energy and passion into victories at the ballot box -- I know we can do it!
