Wow, Friend –

Yesterday, voters in Allegheny County elected three new Democrat state representatives in a special election, solidifying a narrow pro-environment majority in the State House.

There’s zero doubt that the majority of voters want clean air and water, action on climate change and environmental justice, and clean energy jobs – and we finally have a governor and State House that’s ready to fight for our priorities.

But with only 12 solid pro-conservation votes in the State Senate, we’re going to need huge pressure from Pennsylvanians on every single bill that comes up. It’s going to take a tremendous amount of resources to lobby, mobilize in targeted communities, and work with our allies – which is why we’re asking for your help today.

Friend, can you chip in $10, $25, or more today to help us secure protections for Pennsylvania’s environment this legislative session? [link removed]

We’ve won bipartisan support for our parks, flood protections, and communities before, and we’ve built relationships with elected officials on both sides of the aisle. But even with our know-how, Harrisburg politics can turn on a dime, and we only have a razor-thin majority backing us up.

Plus, the oil and gas industry lobby machine is still spending millions of dollars to block commonsense policies to protect families from pollution and invest in a clean energy future.

To win on each piece of legislation, we’re going to need people’s voices – and that takes full throttle on-the-ground mobilization, education and outreach, and collaboration with our allies.

Please, friend, pitch in with a donation of $10, $25, or more so that we can strengthen the pro-environment voice in Harrisburg and fight for bipartisan victories that will protect every Pennsylvanian now and for generations to come: [link removed]
