Hi John,

We are thrilled at the announcement from the FDA that allows local pharmacies the ability to dispense the pills for a medication abortion directly to someone who has a prescription from a certified provider! While there is still much work to do, this will eliminate many hurdles for people accessing care and is another affirmation of what we already know: abortion pills are safe, effective, and should be readily available to all who need.

It's why we’re gathering signatures to say: We Want Abortion Pills in Pharmacies!

Self-Care

Self-care is an intentional practice that roots us in the present despite the oppression we may face. Regular self-care is essential for sustainable and effective activism.

Here are our self-care tips for January:

1.     Remove Twitter from your phone. Hands down, this is one of the best decisions I've made in the last year for my "real-life" productivity as well as my professional productivity. Elon Musk doesn't need to sit in my pocket, everywhere I go. What a relief that is.- Erin, Executive Director

2.     Diversify your skincare routine! I'm not sure why but for me adding one extra step to my nighttime routine whether that is a serum, a temple massage, or just floss makes getting rest so much more desirable. The best feeling is indulging in yourself! - Laila, DC Organizer

3.     Play a game! I have recently rediscovered the joys of some favorite childhood games: Uno, Yahtzee!, Crazy Eights, checkers. Game night and a cup of something warm make a great way to pass these final winter weeks when you might feel a bit stir crazy. – Elizabeth, Senior Development and Operations Manager

See you next month!

In Solidarity,

Erin, Shireen, Elizabeth, Evonnia, Jacqueline, Jessica, Kara, Laila, Nataley, Annie, and the Reproaction team

P.S. Six more weeks of winter? More like six more weeks of action! Give today to fund bold, direct work.
