🎉ESSENCE: Val Demings Among Democrats Named As Impeachment Managers 🎉

Prior to Congress, Demings served as Orlando’s first female Chief of Police. Upon the announcement of being named an impeachment manager, the 2016 electee responded in a tweet: “The evidence against the president is overwhelming. 💫Rep. Ayanna Pressley Reveals Beautiful Bald Head and Discusses Alopecia for the First Time 💫

“I want to be freed from the secret and the shame that that secret carries with it,” Pressley said.

Though she’s still in the process of making peace with having alopecia, Pressley added that she’s making progress every day.

“It’s about self-agency. It’s about power. It’s about acceptance.”

On Friday, our forever FLOTUS celebrated her 56th birthday and her husband (President Barack Obama 😄) made us all swoon as he saluted his beautiful wife on Instagram—Oh to go back 4 years!
