NEW YEAR CAMPAIGN - UPDATE

Dear SPUC supporter,

Great news!

Overnight, our wonderful supporters brought us over one more hurdle in our efforts for the New Year fundraising campaign.

Together, we have now reached an outstanding £91,510.42!

We are now SO CLOSE to what we need in order to action our plans for 2023. We are only £8,489.58 away from the £100,000 target.

I can't tell you what a relief it is to know that we are only four digits away, rather than five digits. Thank you, with all my heart.

But it's not too late to chip in, if you haven't yet.

Any more that we raise in this email campaign will be counted towards this total, and towards SPUC's lifesaving work.

Will you chip in what you can?

Over the past few weeks I have been telling you about the terrible threat to our freedom to speak the truth about abortion.

Pro-abortion forces are seeking to silence us, and prevent us spreading our message - to the point of criminalising last-minute help outside abortion facilities and arresting pro-lifers for silent prayer.

The Associated Press have recently given further evidence of the sinister suppression of pro-life speech.

Their new style guide recommends that journalist avoid saying "pro-life", and say "anti-abortion" instead.

The reason for this? They don't say, but pro-abortion zealots have been complaining about the term "pro-life" for years.

The radical left-wing social organiser Saul Alinksy once wrote: "He who controls the language controls the masses."

And we all remember the sinister governmental interference with language in George Orwell's 1984. "The Party" created a new language called "Newspeak", specifically to make anti-establishment thoughts "literally unthinkable."

Is this what the emissaries of the Abortion Empire are trying to do?

But even if that is their agenda, let us be clear.

We are pro-life – but indeed we are also anti-abortion.

Abortion is the killing of an innocent child in the womb. We are proud to be against this.

We are not afraid to call ourselves anti-abortion.

And we are not afraid if they call us that either.

But while the pro-abortion maniacs might be tilting at windmills over this issue, it's clear that they are seeking to control language so as to suppress opposition altogether.

It has never been more important to support SPUC than it is now.

SPUC was the first pro-life organisation formed in the world.

It is the largest in the UK, with the biggest network of grassroots supporters, and the most able to protect unborn children.

SPUC has formidable political clout. Our ability to mobilise politically is feared by the Abortion Empire.

When pro-abortion politicians like Stella Creasy took to Twitter to share her fears about the overturning of Roe v. Wade, who did she mention as the main threat?

Supporting SPUC is the most effective way to work for a world where abortion is unthinkable.

But SPUC is 100% supporter-funded.

SPUC supporter – our work saving babies depends on YOU! That is why we are so grateful that you have helped us get SO CLOSE - now within £10,000! - to our £100k target.

Would you like to give £20 – £50 – £100 – £500 – or any amount of your choice – to help unborn babies (and their mothers) escape the horror of abortion?

If YOU and I don't stand up against these bullies now, they will carry on trying to take away our freedom to speak, and babies will die.

And if they take away ours, they will take away YOURS soon after.

Thank you once again, SPUC supporter, for helping us nearly reach our target of £100k. We are only £8,489.58 away!

And, if you have not yet given, will you help us?
