It’s time to prepare.

Over the weekend, the Democratic National Committee approved a new Democratic Primary calendar for the 2024 presidential election, which would put Michigan as the 5th state in the nation to hold a primary election (and the first midwest state).

You and I both know that the road to the White House runs through Michigan. Now, our great state, with diversity that reflects the people of this country, can have a stronger voice in the presidential nominating process.

As an early nominating state, we need to prepare. Michigan is a true battleground state which means the nation will be watching closely to see what happens here. 

Our state will also be an even bigger target on the GOP’s radar and special interest groups who bankroll the GOP. With the DNC’s stamp of approval over the weekend, we expect to see millions of dollars pour into Michigan. 

That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. I am looking for 223 Democrats who want to celebrate this incredible opportunity for our state and acknowledge the immense work ahead of us by making a contribution today.
