The One-Minute Meeting

President Joe Biden wants the 8.4 million Americans who depend on insulin to be able to buy it for no more than $35 a month. Insulin is just one example of the many essential drugs that patients need but cannot afford. The president also said in his State of the Union address that the U.S. should keep Obamacare subsidies for low-income Americans that will expire at the end of 2025. Biden also addressed mental health for veterans, online safety for children and the dangers of fentanyl.

The president also wants to impose a 20% tax on billionaires. He has suggested the idea before but it never found much support on Capitol Hill and probably has no chance this time, either. Billionaires live in 42 states, according to Forbes. The list includes California (with 186 billionaire residents), New York (135), Florida (78) and Texas (67), Forbes says. Eight states are home to just one billionaire. Can you guess which states have no billionaires? I give you the list in my newsletter today.
