The MCB express our heartfelt condolences to the people across Turkiye, Syria and Palestine for the unprecedented devastation caused by the recent earthquakes.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ,
We know many across the UK will be seeking ways to help, here is what you can do:

✅ Host a Jummah collection at your Mosque or Islamic centre.

✅ Donate to a reputable charity of your choice.

✅ Do check they're registered with the Charity Commission.

✅ Do consider which charities have a track record in the area with the expertise to mobilise.
❌ Avoid giving to individuals who are not fundraising for a charity.

❌ Don't give to an unknown entity based only on social media.

❌ Don't see this as an either/or situation. There is enough wealth in the Ummah to help all other places in need.
