Hi there,
I’m Blake Smith -- the Iowa Operations Director at Pete for America. I’m just popping into your inbox this All in for Pete Weekend to give you an update from the ground here in Des Moines.
My job as Operations Director is to make sure the team has all the resources they need to execute the plan. That means making sure everyone has canvassing packets, palm cards, and lots of stickers and buttons. And this weekend, with freezing temperatures and lots of snow, it means making sure everyone stays warm and safe, too.
This All in for Pete Weekend, we have volunteers from Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, and South Dakota here to help the team. And you can help, too. Will you pitch in $5 right now to be a part of All in for Pete Weekend?[[link removed]]
We’ve spent the last few months here in Iowa working day and night to spread Pete’s message across the Hawkeye state. We’ve had fun at rallies with Pete and Mandy Moore, and we’ve talked kitchen table issues with thousands of likely caucusgoers. Every conversation, picture, and RSVP is an act of hope, and we’re so grateful that many of you have joined us along the way.
Right now we need you to help us hit our goal of 50,000 donations before midnight tonight. Each donation is a sign of strength for our campaign. Before midnight tonight, will you please chip in anything you can? [[link removed]]
A lot can happen in the next few weeks, and it’s all dependent on what we do together.
Thanks for your support -- we’ll see you at the finish line,
Blake
