There's one thing that motivates me above anything else in the Senate - and that's getting things done for the people of Michigan. Often times, that means passing legislation to make a real difference in people's lives. Other times, it means demanding the truth and protecting our democratic institutions.

So when it comes to what's happening in Washington right now, I'm determined to fight for accountability, honesty and transparency. Americans deserve that from their government.
