Hey,

Earlier this week, President Donald Trump claimed he "saved" Americans with pre-existing conditions from losing their health care coverage.

John, this was a lie.

As Trump made this claim, his administration is in court advocating for the full repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Our House majority responded to those attacks in-kind, and I co-sponsored a bill to strengthen protections for people with pre-existing conditions and undo the Trump administration's efforts to roll back the ACA.

I refuse to sit back as Trump tries to rip away affordable health care from countless American families. We can't give up the progress we've made since passing the Affordable Care Act -- will you join our fight? Add your name now to help me defend every American's right to health care.

It doesn't matter if you're a Republican or a Democrat because -- we all need health care.

Trump claimed health care will become the "best ever" if his administration succeeds in striking down the ACA. But if he wins in court, health insurance companies would no longer be required to accept clients with pre-existing conditions -- leaving millions of Americans without affordable coverage.

We need to fight back. Add your name next to mine and join me in defending the Affordable Care Act.
