President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address is tonight, and the NM Democrats are thrilled to hear how, thanks to Democrats, our country is not only recovering from Donald Trump’s tragic presidency, but is also on its way to a stronger America than ever.
Thanks to legislation such as the CHIPS and Science Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we are on a path to a more successful economy and a more exceptional nation. In just the last two years alone, Democratic leadership set the foundation for the creation of a record 12 million jobs, almost as many in two years as any President ever has in a four-year term. Not only that, the unemployment rate hit a 54-year low at just 3.4% with more Americans joining the labor force. We could go on and on. But don’t get too excited. Although Democrats are focused on delivering real, positive results, the GOP is dedicating their entire mission to undoing all the great progress Democrats have achieved. MAGA Republicans are also seeking to gut Social Security and Medicare, which would be disastrous for all Americans.
If a Republican-led nation is starting to scare you, it should. This is why we need to rally all of our efforts and do everything in our power to prevent Republicans from being in charge. Whether it’s nationwide or right here in New Mexico, GOP leadership is a disaster in any part of the nation. Do your part to keep them and their destructive agenda at bay by donating to the Democratic Party of New Mexico. We need to make sure we have what it takes to stop them from ever maintaining power.
