I’m proud that so many of my friends and fellow veterans have stepped forward to run for office in seats across the country this year.
I’m writing today to tell you about one of them–a Black Hawk pilot and JAG attorney named James Mackler.
James joined the U.S. Army after we were attacked on 9/11 because he felt like he had to do more in a time of crisis. As a 30-year old lawyer, James closed his practice, earned an age waiver, learned to fly a Black Hawk, and became a Screaming Eagle serving in the 101st Airborne Division.
James’ deployment to Iraq coincided with a sharp spike in I.E.D. attacks that made the roads more unsafe and made his job transporting soldiers by air one of the most important in our cause.
Since he’s never shied away from a fight, it’s no surprise to me that today James Mackler is running for U.S. Senate in Tennessee.
Can you make an early investment to help a veteran serve our country in the U.S. Senate?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
It’s hard to ask folks to give away their hard-earned money, but I know from experience that every dollar, every donor, and every volunteer makes a difference.
James has already stepped up to serve our country, and did so with integrity, character, and honesty. We need more people like that in the U.S. Senate, especially in today’s polarized political environment.
Please join the team with an early investment today.
This request is about the future of our country. Your help shows everyone that you don’t need to be rich or well-connected to run for office. Trust me, it’ll inspire others to do the same. And that’s how we’ll beat back unlimited special interest spending and get the U.S. Senate working on solutions again.
Thanks,
Seth
