As a Foundation Veteran Outreach Program (FVOP) goal, we are encouraging patriotic service and aim to provide informational pieces and resources on how Veterans, their families, and our citizens can engage in patriotism to America. FVOP - Continued patriotic service falls within this goal to support America's Veterans.
AMAC Foundation and the FVOP Team are glad to have the opportunity to get to know Veteran Douglas J. Ross through his military story and continued patriotic service. He volunteers his time through various organizations and community involvement over the years.
Doug Ross started his journey as a Midshipman athte US Naval Academy, graduating in the top 15% of his class. He and served with the United States Navy, as a Naval Aviator. With several deployments under his belt, and many experiences to count, Mr. Ross attributes many lessons learned to his time in the service.
Following his departure from the Navy, Doug chose to continue the pilot life, flying for the commercial industry. He joined many organizations, did volunteer work, supported Veterans in various capacities, and continued to remain committed to the oath he took. He believes that it is an important task to stay connected to other servicemembers, Veterans, and organizations that better America's values.
Thank you Mr. Ross. We appreciate the time you took to speak with members of the FVOP team to complete this wonderful recap of your military service and continued service as an American Patriot.
