Dear friends,
I invite you to join the global PIH community for a virtual remembrance of PIH's co-founder, Dr. Paul Farmer, as we mark one year since his passing.
Together, we will reflect on our friend’s remarkable life, the lessons he taught each of us and the impact he left on the world through his words and actions.
His research and writing will continue to teach generations of caregivers and activists to come, and his dedication to raising global ambitions for health equity will serve as a north star as we continue his unfinished work.
While the roadmap he left us is clear, and our shared work has not slowed, it is still surreal to be living in a world without Paul’s presence. Which is why I'm grateful we are taking time together, as a community, to remember our friend and teacher and to care for each other as he cared for us.
