I’m a leading voice against MAGA extremists like Kevin McCarthy and Marjorie Taylor Greene in Congress and my district is actually right by Kevin McCarthy - we’re literally neighbors!

So for me, this isn’t just about a national threat - it’s also about keeping extremism away from my hometown. Standing up to McCarthy’s extremism is genuinely personal for me and my community. It’s not who we are here in California.

Over the past month, MAGA extremists have taken over Congress.

First, they held Kevin McCarthy’s speakership hostage for 15 votes - until they could get him to agree to a long list of their demands.

Then, he completely gave in and appointed Marjorie Taylor Greene to the House Oversight and Homeland Security Committees (I definitely don’t feel any safer with her at the helm…)

I’m building a grassroots resistance right in Kevin McCarthy’s backyard. We have to fight back and make sure Kevin McCarthy knows we’re watching and he will pay the price for leaving us behind.
