We'll talk about how higher education partnerships with militaries and the global arms trade directly undermine our trust in academic institutions and their ability to unbiasedly shape student minds.

On the webinar, we'll share examples of student-led campaigns and various online tools that can aid in divesting and demilitarising universities, including the database developed by Demilitarise Education and the research and organizing done by Women for Weapons Trade Transparency.

Instead of profiting off of resource exploitation, conflict, and the building-up of weapons stockpiles, universities can shape a new understanding of higher education that supports ethical and sustainable partnerships to resolve our real world challenges, like climate change and poverty.

We want an education system that supports ethical and sustainable partnerships free from arms trade manipulation, and we hope you will join us in this discussion on February 14.
