Friends,
For the last three years, we’ve been fighting back against the bigotry perpetuated by Donald Trump, the white nationalists surrounding him in his administration, and those in his party who care more about holding on to power than standing up for what they ostensibly believe in.
This president encourages racist attacks against women of color in Congress who dare to stand up to him.
This president has kept Stephen Miller on as a senior policy advisor even though it’s been more than two months since leaked emails revealed how much of his advice is shaped by fringe white supremacy.
This president separates families, puts them in cages while denying them medical attention, and does everything in his power -- legally and otherwise -- to stop refugees from seeking asylum and a better life here.
We know all of this, and yet new polls are showing that Trump and the GOP senators and representatives who enable his racist policies can still win in 2020.
The ASPIRE team is working tirelessly to fight back: to unseat Republicans in Washington and replace them with progressive candidates of color. But donations have slowed down in the new year, and so I’m writing personally to ask for your help.
