John, next on our list of Senate Superstars is...Bob Casey Jr., from the Keystone state!

Son of former governor of Pennsylvania, Bob Casey Sr., Senator Casey Jr. has been serving in the seat since 2007. He was the first Democrat to win a third term as Senator in the state. 

In 2019, he backed the expansion of background checks on firearm sales, and has come to be a vocal opponent of gun violence and hate crimes stemming from unchecked gun sales. He has also focused on securing healthcare protections for coal miners and their families.  In 2018, he focused on rural initiatives for conservation in Farm Bill, and in 2019 argued for more community development programs along with government housing improvements. He has also been a longtime supporter of LGBTQIA rights and representation.

With more Senate Superstars on the rise, and doing the work, we will continue to build a movement for the coming elections of 2024.
