Perkins Address: 'We Won't Wait for Washington' |

As the nation prepares for President Biden's State of the Union Address, President of Family Research Council (FRC) Tony Perkins gave an address seeking to point America back to biblical truth. Pastors from 19 different states along with teachers and other guests joined together on Monday to hear Perkin's State of Faith, Family, and Freedom address. Perkins began with the observation, "We've [America] not been this divided since Abraham Lincoln's day." |

U.S. House Committee Chair Invites Members to Read Bible in a Year |

Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), Chairwoman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, distributed Bibles and invited fellow committee members to read through it in 2023 at the committee's first meeting on January 31. McMorris Rodgers said the Bible "changed my life" when she read it through for the first time, so she encouraged "everyone to read this book in their lifetime." |

Overshadowing the reunion of Motown legends Robinson and Stevie Wonder was a lesser duo of Sam Smith and Kim Petras singing the Grammy-winning duet "Unholy," which celebrates adultery. Smith emerged before a fiery backdrop, wearing horns, surrounded by dancers, and bathed in red light nearly as demonic-looking as the backdrop of President Biden's speech at Independence Hall in September 2022. |

Disney Cartoon 'The Proud Family' Claims U.S. Is 'Submerged' in Racism and White Supremacy |

A recent episode of the Disney+ cartoon series "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" is creating controversy for depicting America as a country "built on slavery, which means slaves built this country." The show, which is rated TV-PG and is marketed for kids, also questions whether Lincoln freed the slaves and states that the descendants of slaves "have earned reparations." |
