The new year brings hope, and as we reflect on all that we
accomplished together in 2022, I am reminded that our collective action -- rooted in 50
years of success -- is powering the national movement to connect to
the outdoors.

Thanks to member support and friends like you, Trust for Public Land created
126,862 acres of new public land, protected 120 miles of trails,
transformed 18 schoolyards, and built four new parks. Our advocates
sent over 330,000 petitions urging officials to protect our public
lands. And voters approved 34 TPL-sponsored ballot measures,
generating $8.4 billion in new public funding for parks, land
protection, and climate conservation.
Today, nearly 9.4 million people live within a 10-minute walk of a
special place created or protected by TPL members, advocates,
volunteers, and you.
Thank you for being a catalyst for positive change and giving us so
many reasons to celebrate as we enter our 50th anniversary year.
