The Learning Solutions Consultants accomplish their work by promoting team and customer satisfaction, building a world-class learning and performance team and a strong community of professionals across the enterprise, modernizing learning solutions and supporting a Leadership Development and DEI strategy.
As a Learning Consultant, you will contribute to the DES mission by consulting with external customers (e.g. state agencies, other public sector entities and their employees) to assess their training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions to meet those needs. In collaboration with the DES DEI Delivery Team, you will coordinate, manage, and evaluate the efficacy of DEI learning solutions to ensure they meet customer needs. You will assess, understand, and support DEI required training delivery needs for state agencies on both the enterprise and individual learner levels. This work involves coordinating a high volume of enterprise learners seeking to fulfill the DEI training requirement per Executive Order 12-02 and a State HR Directive, and by doing so, support a more inclusive and equitable culture in Washington State government.
