Hi Jack,

Join us for the official bi-monthly meeting of the Republican Party of San Diego County and an exciting event featuring Alfredo Ortiz ([link removed]) , President and CEO of Job Creators Network ([link removed]) . He will be joined by Corrin Rankin ([link removed]) , the Central Valley Regional Vice Chair of the California Republican Party, who is also running for CAGOP Vice Chair, and two other current leaders in the California GOP, Greg Gandrud ([link removed]) , running for re-election to Treasurer of the CAGOP and Randy Berholt ([link removed]) z ([link removed]) , running for re-election to Secretary of the CAGOP.

Not only will you have the chance to participate in the bi-monthly meeting and network with fellow Republicans, but you will also have the opportunity to hear from these exceptional speakers. Alfredo brings a wealth of personal experience to the table, having grown up as the son of Mexican immigrants and overcoming the challenges facing minority entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, Corrin, Greg and Randy offer insightful perspectives as they seek to lead the party in the future.

The event will take place on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Legacy Hotel in Mission Valley (parking is $10), with a reception starting at 6 PM and the program beginning at 7 PM. Don't miss this rare opportunity to learn from these influential leaders in the fight for better policies and engage in lively discussions on supporting minority entrepreneurship and creating more opportunities for all, not just the "woke."

Location:
Legacy Hotel (Pavilion Theater and Ballroom Foyer)
875 Hotel Cir S, San Diego, CA 92108.

Parking: $10

Sincerely,
Chairwoman Paula Whitsell

Job Creators Network President and CEO

Our guest speaker this month will be Alfredo Ortiz

Alfredo Ortiz - is a successful small business owner and the President and CEO of Job Creators Network. He grew up with the values of hard work, grit, and gratitude instilled in him by his parents who immigrated to the US from Mexico City to pursue the American Dream. Ortiz has lived the challenges and opportunities facing minority entrepreneurs first-hand. He testified before the US House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee in the spring of 2022, arguing that bad government policy, not racism, is the biggest barrier to minority economic opportunity. He believes that minorities can overcome racial economic gaps through entrepreneurship.

Ortiz appears frequently on Fox News.

DON'T MISS THESE GREAT OPPORTUNITIES!

Chula Vista Citizens

The recent appointment of Alonso Gonzalez to the Chula Vista city council has sparked widespread outrage among citizens, who believe that the decision was based on cronyism and deception. Despite the clear public opposition to the appointment of Devonna Almagro, a friend of three district council members, the council went ahead and appointed another friend who has a long history of financial problems, including tax debt, DUI, suspended business licenses, and foreclosed property.

The actions of the three district council members in this matter are unacceptable and undermine the trust that citizens have in the political process. If Mr. Gonzalez cannot handle his own life, it is inappropriate for him to make decisions that affect the lives of others. Join us at the Chula Vista Council Meeting on February 7th at 5:00 pm to put the appointment of District 3 back on the agenda, or to call for Mr. Gonzalez to resign. It is time for the three council members to appoint someone with integrity and to restore the faith of the citizens in their elected officials.

High School and College Students

Do you know any college or high school student who is moderate or conservative in their political views and may be interested in learning more about (and getting actively involved in) public service or politics?

If you do, we want to invite them to participate in the FREE California Emerging Leaders program that offers support, mentorship, training, internships, and paid jobs. Finding these students is HARD – so we're relying on folks like you to nominate someone you know. We're holding a free information breakfast Feb 11 at 8am in Poway to brief parents and students on all the program has to offer.

RSVP: Feb 11 California Emerging Leaders Breakfast for Interested Parents and Students ([link removed])

Parent Activists and Potential School Board Candidates

Do you know anyone who would be interested in participating in a parents’ rights group or running for school board in San Diego county?

If you do, please ask them to sign up for our Feb 11 School Reform Summit where we will discuss what is happening in local school districts, how parents can take a more active role in advocating for change, and how to run for school board.

RSVP: Feb 11 San Diego School Board Reform Summit – Parents and Potential Candidates ([link removed])

We MUST get more people involved in the fight to make sure our schools offer quality education to our children without the far-Left extreme political agendas. We also need to help support moderate and conservative high school and college students. These two programs are VITAL to achieving both of those goals – but we need your help finding people for both programs so please think hard and nominate someone for both/either roles today!
WARNING

Republican Party events involve prayer, love of the Constitution, and are highly patriotic. Serious issues are debated and people routinely disagree on issues in a respectful manner. We are all Americans first and anything else second, third, etc. Attend at your own risk.
