Good afternoon, Dr. Bob Lorinser here, running for US Congress in Michigan's 1st District. I know the political cycles of fundraising can be exhausting for both of us. Unfortunately, without campaign finance reform, my competition and their corporate PAC money can create start-up obstacles. I come to you today seeking funding to get my Congressional campaign and our 'Rural Fund' off the ground. I may be running for an open seat. I may be running against the winner of a strong Republican field of at least four candidates. I know August 2024 is far away, but I'm asking you to be a founding donor of my campaign. Currently, my team is building a robust campaign infrastructure and the beginnings of a strong field team. We're working to partner with other quality candidates, important initiatives, and 36 of Michigan's 83 county parties. I'm asking for your support in the endeavor to advance Democratic principles and hold legislators accountable across this district. I hope you agree our large network and the groundwork we established in 2022 gives my campaign the unique opportunity to be a driving change this cycle. My work starts now. We're in discussions with organizations that give grants to rural counties, eliminate medical debt, create democratic resolutions for party leaders, and so much more. I hope to announce some serious progress on these fronts in the next few months - all will help hard-working, rural families across Michigan and America's heartland. I desperately need your help getting there. If you can contribute anything now, I would greatly appreciate it. Here's a link and more information:
I would also love to discuss our plans on a private call. Reply if you're interested, and I'm happy to set up a scheduled discussion with you next week to see how we can accomplish big things together. I appreciate your consideration. Regards, -Dr. Bob Bob Lorinser Candidate for US Congress (D, MI01)
