Folks, Republicans do a lot of whining about things that aren’t true.

Why? Because it’s a hell of a lot easier than actually governing.

Getting a bill passed to solve a real issue is a lot of work. Blowing hot air on Newsmax isn’t.

When Democrats were in the majority, we:

-Rebuilt critical infrastructure across the country
-Cut prescription drug costs for consumers
-Brought clean energy policy into the 21st century
-Enshrined marriage equality into law
-Delivered justice to veterans and military families

And here’s what the new GOP majority wants to do with power:

-Ban books from public libraries
-Throw temper tantrums instead of paying America's bills
-Stage endless revenge investigations of Democrats
-Pack the federal courts with right-wing hack judges

So, folks, when the far-right media rants endlessly about “socialism,” or when Big Oil spends millions to halt climate action, or when billionaires fund insurrections against the very foundations of our democracy, we cannot back down.

At this turning point in our nation’s history, we can’t let the whiners win.
