I'm going to get straight to the point, Jack: Daily Kos needs your help.
Daily Kos relies on three different revenue streams to cover our expenses: community fundraising, advertising, and list building, in which Democratic campaigns pay for us to offer our readers connections to candidates for office.
So far 2023 has gotten off to a slow start. Only one out of three revenue streams hit its January goal, and that was community fundraising—that's all the donations of just a few dollars from our readers and activists. In fact, those grassroots donations make up nearly half our total revenue.
That's why I am asking for your help. Can you take one minute right now to set up a $5 monthly recurring donation to Daily Kos. It would be enormously helpful.
If you are looking for a way to help Daily Kos, the single most powerful thing you can do to support our work is set up a monthly recurring contribution. This may sound like a small thing to do, but seeing thousands of $1 or $5 or $10 contributions set up to recur automatically every month is hugely helpful to us when it comes to budgeting and executing campaigns to make change. It helps us make sure nothing goes to waste, and no opportunity is missed.
If you can't donate monthly, you can click here to donate $5 one time.
Thank you for all you do,
Amanda McKay, Daily Kos
