See that kid? That’s me.

I’ve had a job from as early as I could work. No choice. That is what happens with lots of families in this county. For us, it was because me and my sisters were raised by a single mom on a secretary’s salary.

That job above was at a hot dog stand. It was good because not only did I get to eat for free, but my boss, Steve, let me catch up on school work and college applications during down times.

To this day, I am thankful for Steve.

Losing my friends, getting shot at and people trying to blow you up all the time... you never really come back from that. You’re never the same person.

But while I was over there, I had my fellow Marines. At home, I have the support of a loving family. I am thankful for that.

See this guy? That’s me. Last weekend in Tucson at our launch rally with hundreds of supporters.

It’s still hard to believe given where I started.

But I can’t do this either. It’s going to take a team in order to win this Senate race. Especially going up against Senator Sinema’s money.
