Dear Jack,

Picture this: caribou with giant antlers walking across a vast snowy landscape. Snow-capped mountain peaks in the background, and sparkling blue water scattered with floating glaciers. This is what Alaska’s Western Arctic looked like last winter.

But by next winter, the caribou could be gone — frightened by noisy oil drilling machinery. Pipelines, roads, and airstrips could destroy the snowy landscape and giant oil processing facilities could block the view of the mountains. Soon after, the glaciers could start melting, and Alaska’s Western Arctic might never be the same.

This is the reality that ConocoPhillips is fighting for RIGHT NOW. The oil company is pushing for its polluting Willow project to be rushed through approval, no matter the cost to the Arctic. But there’s still hope. Please, sign your name before midnight tonight and keep Big Oil out of the Arctic!

The Willow Project will be devastating for all those that call the Arctic home. The noise, traffic, and pollution the project brings will disrupt ecosystems that Indigenous Alaskans have relied on for millennia. And the project threatens the already vulnerable caribou population — a vital resource many native communities rely on.

The Arctic is already warming TWICE AS FAST as the rest of the U.S. Alaska cannot afford more drilling projects. But the only way we can stop this is if 189 more environmentalists like you sign our petition before it’s too late.

Jack, will you add your name to save the Arctic from oil drilling?
