Tell Biden to take bold measures to stop this madness before it gets too far, and demand a clean raise on the debt ceiling: no negotiating whatsoever!

The debt ceiling isn’t the budget. The budget is Congress’s opportunity to edit and negotiate. The debt ceiling is America’s very ability to pay its bills! Republicans are hoping that Democrats will get so desperate they’ll put social security and medicare on the chopping block. Now is the time for the President and congressional Democrats to stand strong! If Republicans think Democrats can be easily manipulated, they’ll just take things further and further. Tell President Biden to stand FIRM against these political manipulations, and create a chaos free debt ceiling raise!

We know from experience: Republicans can not be negotiated with. The last time President Obama played nice with Republicans around the debt ceiling, it prolonged a global recession and undermined American stability for years to come. Urge President Biden to learn from his time in Obama’s White House: don’t negotiate with Republicans on debt ceiling drama!
