Students cannot learn when they are hungry or when they are too ashamed to ask for help, folks.

But right now in America, there are 10 million food insecure students going to bed hungry. That’s more than the entire populations of New York City, Washington D.C., and Detroit—combined.

It’s an unacceptable tragedy—and why I’m pushing for Congress to pass the Healthy Meals, Healthy Kids Act to ensure every child is guaranteed lunch when they go to school.

If you agree no child should go to bed hungry, will you join me in demanding Congress take action ASAP and pass the Healthy Meals, Healthy Kids Act before it’s too late? [[link removed]]

When I recently met with the school administrators in Farmington Hills, Michigan, they informed me that 40 PERCENT of our children are currently food insecure.

And now that pandemic-era lunch programs have expired, this number will only rise unless Congress takes action NOW and passes the Healthy Meals, Healthy Kids Act .

So, will you sign on to our petition demanding Congress help the 10 million food insecure students living in America right now? Together, we can make sure no child goes through school hungry. [[link removed]]

Thanks for taking action,
