Friend, 

This week, Republicans introduced a resolution "denouncing the horrors of socialism." It was a completely unserious waste of all our time — but it also once again highlighted the fact that they are completely uninterested in passing real legislation that helps everyday Americans. 

I am a proud champion of public housing, Medicare, Social Security, and the Child Tax Credit. Working families deserve the same support and investments that the ultra-wealthy receive. Rather than acknowledging the value of these programs, Republicans have used charged language to condemn anything that benefits our communities. 

It's clear exactly where they believe we should put our resources, but despite their opposition, I won't stop fighting for policies that matter to working families. Are you with me?

Congressional Republicans had a field day complaining about everything we did over the past two years — but they also happily took the money we invested in their constituents. 

Now that they have the majority, they're wasting everyone's time with ridiculous and harmful resolutions like this. It's clear they aren't fit to lead — and so I'm already fighting to win back the House.
