"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body."

- Philippians 3:20-21
Africa & Europe
Praise God for a successful launch of the boat patrol project in Ghana. Police on the boat patrol are already reporting that they have intercepted children suspected of being trafficked into fishing on the lake. Pray for a growing impact of this police presence on the lake to deter the trafficking of children.
Latin America
Praise God for IJM Bolivia volunteers, whose committed work has resulted in over 20 perpetrators in Bolivia being held accountable. In 2022, IJM continued to mentor our trained pro-bono volunteers who walked with survivors of sexual violence and their families, providing them with free legal services. Despite many roadblocks, including dozens of hearings rescheduled due to the public justice system’s backlog and defendants’ tactics to delay processes, our relentless volunteers continued to show up every day until perpetrators were held accountable.
South Asia
Pray for IJM’s efforts to identify new casework partners in South Asia. We have been working with grassroots NGOs for over a decade on the issue of bonded labor slavery, and we have learned so much from their local knowledge and passion. Pray we can find exciting new partners to help us protect thousands more children, women and men in the next few years. Pray our teams would have wisdom and discernment in finding the right organizations and bringing them onboard.
Asia Pacific
Please pray for justice in an ongoing case in Indonesia! Recently, nine Indonesians were rescued from trafficking in Cambodia. Praise God for their safe return home, and please pray as they now engage in legal battles against those who trafficked them. Pray that the accused will be sentenced accordingly and swiftly, and for continued restoration for the survivors!
IJM Global Office & Partners
The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Please pray for our leaders as they plan for the fiscal year ahead. Teams are hard at work planning projects with constrained budgets and resources stretched to maximum capacity. Pray for humility as leaders navigate tradeoff discussions, and for wisdom to determine the highest priority initiatives.

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
