After his airstrikes targeting Iranian military leaders, POLITICO reports that Trump’s approval ratings have bumped up to 43%, with 49% approving of the airstrikes themselves and 58% supporting Trump’s new sanctions against Iran. 
 
But at the same time, CNN’s polling found that a 52% majority of Americans felt less safe in the wake of Trump’s escalations with Iran. And earlier this week, Iran rejected any new deal with Trump to limit its nuclear capabilities.
