The Arctic is warming twice as fast as the rest of the world, and polar bear
habitats are rapidly melting away. Some experts even predict the Arctic could be ice-free as early as 2054!

It’s difficult to estimate exactly how soon the Arctic ice could completely
disappear, but one thing is certain: Cruise ships and oil tankers are speeding up this environmental destruction and
making it even harder for polar bears to survive.

Polar bears have already suffered some of the worst impacts of human-driven
climate change. Every second as more ice melts away, these beloved animals are MALNOURISHED and STARVING TO DEATH.

Meanwhile, the cruise industry continues to increase ship traffic with massive
vessels that release hazardous levels of water, air, and noise pollution into this fragile area. We can’t just allow Big Cruise to recklessly destroy
the Arctic and threaten the well-being of the people and wildlife who call this

predators in their food web, these beloved mammals play a vital role in the balance of the ecosystem.

But when giant cruise ships speed through the Arctic, they release toxic amounts
of climate-warming emissions, emit disruptive noise pollution that drives fish and critical food sources away, AND dump harmful chemicals that are seeping into the food chain itself.
