John,

It is with great optimism for the future of our party that we begin this new year.

First of all, we want to wish everyone a very happy 2020! We also want to thank all those who generously donated during our end-of-year fundraising blitz in December. This will help us pay for the projects we are planning in 2020.

One of these projects is a regular show on YouTube hosted by our Leader Maxime Bernier, that will also feature former candidates, PPC organizers, and other personalities who have interesting stories to tell. It will be called The Max Bernier Show, and it will provide our Leader with the platform to talk directly to supporters and potential voters on a regular basis, without nefarious spin from the mainstream media.

We have completed the reorganization of the Party’s HQ. Daniel Tyrie is stepping into the role of Executive Director. Ryan Browne will be moving into the role of Operations Manager. Martin Masse continues to work as Director of Policy and Communications. Our candidate in Beloeil—Chambly, Quebec, Chloé Bernard, has been hired as producer of the YouTube show and to take care of internal communications in French. Travis Morris and other part-time workers and volunteers will also be helping HQ in various ways.

In the wake of the election, we had thousands of unanswered messages waiting in the Party’s inbox. Our small team was unable to cope with the flood of messages during the last weeks of the election campaign and during the reorganization that followed. All these messages have now been answered. We apologize for the inconvenience and the delays.

Our riding associations are currently working to complete their financial report for Elections Canada following last October’s election, as well as preparing tax receipts for any donations they received. They would welcome new volunteers as they look for ways to keep the party active in their region and be ready for the next election. Volunteering with your PPC association is a great way to meet people in your area who share your values. If you are interested, please write to us at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> to get contact information.

John, stay tuned as we gradually get prepared to show Canadians that the People’s Party is still alive and kicking, and that its values and policies are the best ones!

Best,
The PPC Team
