Senator John Cornyn -- does that name ring any bells?

Cornyn's been representing Texas in the Senate since 2002, and all that time he's been quietly working to push forward the GOP's hard-right agenda. He's voted to defund Planned Parenthood, supported bills banning abortion after 20 weeks, and advocated for a "Federal Marriage Amendment" to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

And of course, that also means he's voted to defund the ​Affordable Care Act​, to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, and hand out huge tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans. But when it comes to actually putting the people of Texas first, Cornyn has been falling short.

But in 2020, we have the chance to vote Cornyn out of office and end the GOP's stranglehold on the Senate.

Now, Cornyn's worried about his election -- and he should be. Polls show Cornyn is losing support in his own state, with a lower approval rating than Ted Cruz.
