Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
My team and I are doing everything that we can to assist those impacted by this winter storm. Below is a list of resources and contacts for jurisdictions across the 21st District. We hope this information will be useful to you and others as you navigate the aftermath of the icy winter storm.
While road conditions are improving, be mindful of line crews and first responders, and never hesitate to call emergency management if you require assistance or locate damaged infrastructure.

Austin Energy has not provided a system-wide restoration estimate. My team is in contact with state and local officials to see how we can be helpful pushing more resources where needed.
Update: CPS Energy of San Antonio and CenterPoint Energy of Houston are sending line crews to assist Austin Energy
Debris: Austin Public Works is working to clear debris from roads and rights-of-way, prioritizing major roads then moving into residential areas. Avoid touching debris near power lines and call 3-1-1.
Warming Centers: Individuals in need of shelter are asked to report to One Texas Center, located at 505 Barton Springs Road. From there, individuals seeking shelter will be taken by CapMetro buses to the cold weather shelter locations.
Hays, Blanco, Comal, Kendall and Kerr Counties
Power Outages: These counties share major electricity providers namely Pedernales Electric Co-op and Central Texas Electric Coop. If you are experiencing an outage, you report it here:
- Pedernales Electric Co-operative: 888-554-4732

Due to the isolated nature of the damage in these counties, exact estimates on restoration have not been provided. Line crews from other parts of the state and country are joining restoration efforts, and my team is in contact with state and local officials regularly offering assistance.
San Antonio
