I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent TX-07 and I’m grateful to have you as part of #TeamLizzie.

In January, we saw just how important it is for us to hold this seat and to win back the House. From the first days of failure to elect a Speaker to the first votes for bills that do not benefit the American people, the new Republican majority showed us who they are and what they care most about.

The new majority’s agenda is dangerous. Threatening to default on our national debt. Proposing to cut Social Security and Medicare. Taking away our ability to make our own personal reproductive health care decisions. And putting pettiness and payback over people.

It’s politics, not policy. And it will not go unchallenged. I will continue to fight for our priorities, and together, #TeamLizzie will continue working to make sure Democrats regain the majority next year.

To bring about change, we need to do one thing: win elections. That’s what #TeamLizzie has been doing since day one, and we are not stopping now. Thanks for being part of the team.
