Neighbors,
This week started out on a productive note, when the Minnesota House passed HF 4, known as ?Driver?s Licenses for All.? The bill [ [link removed] ], would allow undocumented residents to obtain a driver?s license after passing standard licensing exams and tests. Advancing this measure means families are one step closer to being able to complete essential daily tasks like driving to work, dropping kids off at school, or attending medical appointments.
I am a strong supporter of this bill, which has broad support from law enforcement, the business community, and unions.
Getting more people to pass a driving exam and become licensed motorists ensures everyone will be safer on the roads.

*_The Community & The Capitol_*
This week at the Capitol, I met with the Blue Earth County elections administrator and the Minnesota Secretary of State staff on voting and elections bills. It is important to get community and state input on these bills I am authoring and I?m appreciative of their time.
CHS in Mankato processes more soybeans than anywhere else in the world. I had the pleasure of touring their facility with the Agriculture Committee last summer and I met with them again this week to hear about their priorities.

I met with Governor Walz last week to advocate for Mankato?s wastewater treatment facility, which remains one of my top legislative priorities this session.
