Breaking news, team: Nine Republican-led states just asked a federal judge in Texas to shut down DACA once and for all.
Will you make a $10 donation to support us in the DACA fight ahead? The future of the program is uncertain, and we need to be prepared to fight for immigrant communities.

These nine states are asking Judge Hanen — the judge who previously shut down the DACA program to new applicants — to permanently end DACA protections, including renewals.
The disruption that losing DACA status could have is unimaginable. Hundreds of thousands of immigrant youths would lose their work permits and be at risk of deportation.
To be clear, renewal applications are still being accepted, and no change to the program has been decided yet — but there is no guarantee that DACA will survive much longer.
This request is just the latest in a series of continuous attacks on the DACA program. No matter what the courts say, we know that DACA is right and legal, and that's why we'll keep fighting.
But DACA was always meant to be a temporary fix — not a permanent solution. And these attacks will only continue until we secure permanent protections.
It’s clear we cannot rely on Republican-led courts to protect our communities. So now we’re taking matters into our own hands and amplifying the pressure on President Biden and Congress to come together and deliver permanent protections before it’s too late.
If you’re able, will you rush an urgent donation to support United We Dream Action’s fight for permanent protections for immigrant youth and all undocumented people?
