I’ve been watching the 2020 primary race closely, and I’ve been drawn to Pete because of his profound authenticity. 

Pete is a stark contrast to the typical Washington mindset that we’re used to -- one full of anger and political warfare. He reminds me of why I became politically active as a young teen and fell so deeply in love with this democracy.

I thought this week’s debate was striking. Every other candidate up there was re-litigating issues of the past -- but Pete actually stood for something. I was proud of the way he presented his bold vision for the future centered around belonging.

Pete is offering a new approach with solutions big enough to meet this moment and unifying enough to actually get things done. America has overcome tremendous challenges before and I know we can do it again.
