AZ Central: Gov. Katie Hobbs says she's ready to make her goals for Arizona reality — with or without Republicans
From day one, Katie has said she’ll work with anyone on solutions to Arizona’s biggest challenges. Instead, Republicans in the state legislature have been unwilling to compromise on the state budget and have advanced a bill that would restrict teachers from using transgender students’ preferred pronouns. When Katie says she stands with all Arizonans, she means it — and she will never sign such a bill. She is, however, committed to passing a budget that meets Arizonans' needs, and fighting for progress on the issues folks are facing, whether or not Republicans will cooperate.

The Governor’s proposed budget includes major investments in education and affordable housing projects, while eliminating the sales tax on diapers and feminine hygiene products, saving Arizona women and families $40 million a year.
