As Auditor, I am a member of the State Board of Investment. It might not sound like much, but the decisions we make that affect the retirement of hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans.

Every decision we make there is a big decision.

I recently talked to Responsible Investor about the benefits that environmentally responsible investing (ESG) has for every Minnesotan:

"Elected officials who make financial decisions based on politics instead of data will increase risks and costs for taxpayers. Based on significant and mounting evidence, anti-ESG politicians are on a risky path"

Protecting the environment doesn't just make sense, it makes dollars and cents. Hundreds of millions of them.

Some GOP led states are trying to ban ESG investing strategies, and GOPers in Minnesota are no different. We need to send them a message:

Add your name now and tell anti-ESG GOPers that Minnesotans can't afford the risks of ignoring the environmental impact of ourir investments!
