John, we can barely believe this:

Hakeem Jeffries — the leader of the Democratic caucus in Congress — hardly defended Ilhan Omar yesterday while she’s enduring Islamophobic and racist attacks from Kevin McCarthy and other Republicans.

In response to Kevin McCathy kicking her off of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Hakeem Jeffries said: “Rep. Omar certainly has made mistakes.”

Let us be clear: We unequivocally stand with Ilhan and will continue to support her as she endures hate-filled, hypocritical attacks from the GOP.
